Fall Soccer Wrap-Up

Is it sad that we had nothing else eventful going on for a whole month, and that the beginning and end of soccer are in two consecutive posts??!! Oh well....such is life in our household these days. Nothing too exciting, just trying to keep up with every day life at the moment. Anyhoo.....back to soccer. So Garrett had another great soccer season and yet again showed so much improvement. He is really getting after the ball and isn't afraid to get in there with the rest of them. The first couple of games he tried to boot the ball (and missed) into the goal a little too often , and we had to have a little chat about taking the ball all the way too the goal. It didn't take long before he dropped that habit and was scoring like crazy. We are so proud of him and his determination. We are already looking forward to spring since he's not really into the winter sports. Here's a picture of his little team at the last game (we were missing a couple of kids and his coach was out of state for a family emergency).
